How Stay22 Skyrocketed My Affiliate Income

In other blog posts I’ve been sharing about generating a passive income while travelling. One of my passive incomes is coming from affiliates. In this blog I’ll take you with me as my affiliates have skyrocketed ever since I started using Stay22.

Whenever I tell my blogger friends about how Stay22 has taken my affiliate income to a whole new level, even I find it hard to believe. As a Dutch man, I’m pretty down to earth and would never be overly excited and I’d never like to make false promises. If people are too excited, I’d usually be like: that must be a scam. I never thought a simple tweak to my website could lead to a massive boost in earnings, but here we are!
How I got started with Stay22
It all started with a conversation with my friend Isabel, a fellow blogger. She started with Stay22 in early 2024 and kept telling me to give it a try. I was a bit hesitant. I just saw some results in my affiliate sales, created all the links and I thought I had to do a lot of work to link everything according to the Stay22 standards.
She kept getting back to me, and I decided to give it a try. My hotel bookings were staying a bit behind compared to my tour bookings, so why not, I’ve got nothing to lose. Because of my decent tour bookings, I excluded my GetYourGuide affiliates from Stay22 at the time. I was happy with their program, with great availability widgets and a great online platform too. (I’ve since changed this, more on that in the 2026 update below.)
Let me tell you, Stay22 has been a game-changer. The first booking took no longer than a day. My affiliate income has hit an all time high and my small blog is making me a very decent living right now.
Some data
- In less than 3 months time, I generated a total of $650 USD in affiliate sales.
- Over my first months, I received 1,25 booking a day.
- The average commission I receive per booking is $6.12.
- My current average daily income from Stay22 is $7.65
- My first pay out of $156 USD was in February 2025, just 2 months after I started earning.
- 84 out of my 105 bookings came from Booking.com, making it my most profitable hotel partner
- I’m expecting to be able to withdraw an average of $200 USD per month, just from Stay22.
Note that you only get paid after the booking is fulfilled. If people book in February, but travel in July, you only get paid 7 days after the check out date as people are still able to cancel their trip.
2026 Update
This post was written when I just got started with Stay22. It’s only fair to give an honest review now that I’m almost 2 years in.
All over 2025, I averaged around 40 to 50 bookings every month, without really writing a lot of new content. In early 2026, my blog got hit hard and my traffic numbers have been down for a couple of months. Even then, Stay22 kept generating bookings, just fewer, down to maybe 10 a month.
Right now my traffic is recovering, and I’m seeing that reflected in my Stay22 numbers too.
My total revenue over almost 2 years has been over $3000 USD. I expected to withdraw around $200 USD a month, but between this traffic hit and my own inactivity on the blog, I haven’t gotten there yet. I’m confident new articles will bring that back up. I also recently turned on GetYourGuide inside Stay22, so nearly all my affiliate bookings run through Stay22 now.
In the next paragraphs I’ll give you a breakdown of the things that absolutely stand out to me.
The ease of installation
As a blogger, creating affiliate links can be a hassle. Finding links, using link generators, inserting all the specific attributes to the links. I saw myself spending hours of replacing links and adjusting settings to get Stay22 running on my site.
But the reality was completely different. The Stay22 script, called Let Me Allez, is so easy to install. It took me 10 minutes, and it could have been even faster.

Immediate results
After I installed the script and set everything up, I expected to see gradual inclining results over time. I thought maybe after a few weeks or months, I’d start to see some sort of uptick in bookings and commissions. But no. The results were immediate.
I had previously earned 10 hotel bookings over the last year with other affiliate programs. Now, after just one week of installing the Stay22 script, I got the same amount! And I was just getting started! The numbers kept rolling in, with January being my best month so far with 54 hotel bookings. Again, with just installing a single script.
A great platform to work with
As I’ve mentioned before, Stay22 is not the first affiliate program I’ve tried. Sometimes I get approached by individual companies and rental agencies to use their program for their product. I don’t have the time to check too many websites to see my earnings, and there’d usually be a minimum amount you have to earn before you can withdraw your profits.

All these positive words, you’d think there should be a downside. If there’s one thing bloggers can be contemplating about, it’s that little push to a booking website. I know some people can be a little concerned about this. Personally I’m not, as ads are not dominating my website, and people don’t really mind about this, as they know bloggers have to make money somehow too!

If you’re just getting started and looking for ways to monetize your blog, don’t hesitate and sign up for Stay22 today. If you’re longer in the market and you’re seeing decent earnings, try it for two weeks and you’ll be convinced. It’s easy to go back as you can just delete the script to go back to normal, but I guess you won’t.
